Yuppers, it's really happening. Though I would dearly love to see Nighty, I know it'll be a while before we see any promos of him. They'll have to rush to get AC though makeup. I'm sure he's getting/has already had a body cast done. *shivers* I hear those suck.
I have high hopes for this movie, and when I heard "Stryker" I had thought it might be great -- thinking "God Loves, Man Kills." Now, however, I'm starting to worry. Lady Deathstrike? Gyrich? Sentinals? It's starting to sound like they might get too complicated for this to appeal to the masses. That would be bad, to understate it.

Yes, body casts suck. Depending on how much they need for the cast, you can't move, and if they're doing a cast of your face, you breathe through straws in your nose, and you have to stay compleatly still the entire time, or the cast will come out wrong and they have to do the whole thing over again.

And if you're doing an at-home job of casting your face you gotta grease up your face first, and then your eybrows and eyelashes STILL get stuck in the plaster!!
Non that I'd know about that sort of thing... (whistles)

Or when you let the straws slip and suddenly can't breath. But yet you can't move or it'll screw it up and you have to do it over. So you hope the one straw that's still half-way in can provide enough oxygen. I think that would suck too. Heh.
Don't ever try to cast your dad either. Especially when your dad has a mustache. Oops.

Dark Horizons have been given a tour of the X-Men 2 sets...first they talked about Magneto's cell...but then they went on to this...
The next set was the White House set. This one was also nearly done with some of the props in place but not all. A quick tour revealed the ease at which set designers and builders can make wood look like tile flooring and walls. The set is your basic White House-West Wing style set with the hidden doors in the walls and some impressive walkways and so on. One thing that seemed out of place was a separate room that appeared to be a very dirt bathroom, complete with cracked plaster and dirty wiredglass windows.
Looks like Kurt going after the President just might be for real...is the dirt(y) bathroom where Kurt 'ports to to escape security? Or, as the site thinks, something to do with Weapon X?
The whole thing is here in their news for Wednesday, June 19th 2002.
